Back from Asia, Back to Blogging!

Dear Rules & Modern Geisha Fans,

I am back from Asia and back to blogging again with delicious stories from my adventures with tons of photos and videos to share.  I have much to say on what I observed about men, women, dating, relationships, Eastern philosophy and the pursuit of love and happiness.  I also have some interesting new perspectives and applications to The Rules when it comes to your Mom and interacting with strange, new people in strange, new places. It has taken me some to readjust from the half day in time difference and to get back into the regular rhythm of blogging again.  But I came home having to catch up with several clients who were anxiously awaiting my return for their consultations after a month-long absence and of course, a cute husband who missed me very much!

Me at the Temple of Literature next to the character for "Virtue."

First of all, this trip Vietnam was an opportunity to take a mother-daughter bonding trip to visit the birthplace of my parents, my ancestors, my culture and tradition. I visited the homes of family members such as uncles, aunts, cousins and distant relatives who I have never met before.  Along with family visits, our trip was a series of  hurried shopping and sight-seeing excursions. Traveling with my Mom was like traveling with bandits!  But at least I still able to enjoy the stunning and raw natural beauty of the country and be able to connect with the beauty of my culture.

Having a treat with Mom at Fanny's Ice Cream in Hanoi.

My favorite place was the charming city of Hanoi, where I felt very much at home.  Just by having conversation with the locals, I got to experience first-hand why Hanoi girls  are simply charming, irresistible and “maddeningly addicting.” (The Modern Geisha’s claim to fame.)

I was so lucky to have a friend of mine named Raymond from San Antonio tell me about the Bangkok Salsa Congress.  It just so happened to coincide with my trip to Vietnam, so immediately upon arriving in Saigon on a Friday, I flew out the very next day to Bangkok for the salsa congress that weekend. Even though I was a bit tired from the flight, when I heard the music, I couldn’t resist dancing! I had a wonderful time in Bangkok making new salsa friends, salsa dancing, shopping, eating delicious Thai food and getting pampered with a 3 hour Thai massage!

The other reason for the trip was to authenticate my long-awaited Modern Geisha philosophy and doctrine. I have a following of women from all over who excited about the release of the Modern Geisha summary statement, which would define and instruct women on “How to Be a Modern Geisha.”  Because of its roots are deeply based on Asian philosophy, I wanted to experience it and authenticate it on Asian soil.

During a long layover in Japan, I splurged on some cherry-blossom themed souvenirs and went nuts over Hello Kitty Geishas.  I will never be too old for Hello Kitty.

Los Angeles, CA, November 13, 2011 –(PR.com)– Location-based dating website CupidRadar.com announces its newest site feature, CupidRadar Coaches, where dating experts and relationship contributors will offer CupidRadar.com members advice and helpful tools for successful dating through ongoing articles and blogs. The coaches and their articles are accessible through the CupidRadar.com home page.

Representing top cities for singles and dating in the U.S., expert coaches are screened and carefully selected to ensure compatibility with the vision and high standards of CupidRadar.com.

Kim Evazians, a “Rules Coach” from Austin, Kimberly Koehler, a relationship expert from Minneapolis, and Coach Katherin, a dating coach from Seattle, will all collaborate with CupidRadar.com as part of this new site feature and service.

“We’re very excited to have Kim, Kimberly, and Katherin collaborating with us. I’m confident our users will find their insight and expert perspectives on all aspects of dating and love to be extremely helpful,” said Mehrdad Sarlak, President of CupidRadar.com. “With this new initiative, CupidRadar.com continues to push the dating site envelope by not only matching singles who may have otherwise never met, but by helping them turn that date into a long-lasting mate.”

Coaches will weigh in on topics such as advice on presenting oneself in online profiles, dating “do’s and don’ts,” tips on what to look for in potential partners, how to move past dating into a happy and healthy relationship, and more.

“I believe the measure of a dating site’s success isn’t how many search results it returns, but rather the number of lasting, quality relationships it creates,” said Sarlak. “Our powerful technology that helps singles near each other meet is now coupled with the guidance and advice of our expert coaches. We’re very excited about what this enables for our CupidRadar.com community.”

CupidRadar.com will continue adding relationship experts from cities across the country in coming months. The coaches’ articles and blogs are fully available to anyone joining CupidRadar as part of the free membership. Check for updates on the CupidRadar Coaches page by visiting CupidRadar.com.

CupidRadar.com uses the latest geo-location technologies on smart phones and web-enabled devices (including home computers) to match and connect singles that are near each other at any time.
